What is Testing and Tagging?
Testing and tagging is a procedure used to safety check appliances in workplaces and public areas in order to help mitigate electrical shock to employees.
It is mandatory that all workplace environments (employers and self employed) test and tag. Each year hundreds of lives are saved through regular testing and tagging of equipment.
Testing and tagging is the best way to regularly detect obvious damage, wear or other conditions that render appliances unsafe.
